O dear lord. Is the rest of life going to fly by like the last year or so has? If so, I'm in big trouble!
While I've done a TON of work in my front and back yards (with a lot of help from my papa) I've discovered in the last couple of days that my living room is STILL full of half-unpacked boxes. Uh oh. My bedrooom is still a disaster zone of clothes needing to find homes and our spare room is little better... tho' you can actually SIT on the new futon now. /sigh.
What the heck did I do for the last few weeks????
I have yet to return my uniform, keys and a bunch of paperwork to my summer job. It's all ready... just not going anywhere.
I still don't have a job. The extremely promising prospect didn't pan out, to my disappointment. Damn all those people with actual experience! :P I'm starting to wonder if it was smart to have finished my degree in the last two years, rather than just hopping on the WHATEVER job bandwagon. The 10 grand I'm now in debt looms bigger and bigger in my mind as the jobs for which my degree qualifies me go to people with that everloving experience advantage. It's too late to turn back the clock and just settle for something and I
am proud that I convocated with a degree in something I love. It's just scary that bills still need to be paid while I sit at home and ... a month goes by.
In other news, the yard DOES look pretty awesome, I've planted tulips and my veggie "square-foot" garden is prepped for the spring. I've been babysitting (babies, cats and now a dog) and trying to get some exercise. I spent a fun day with Chuck and D at the Telus World of Science. My nephew came to hang out on Friday night and left on Sunday afternoon.
So that's a little bit about me. I'm still not sure who stole September, though!
