Woah! Where did November Go???

Um... so I haven't posted in a month. OOps. Been busy doing a whole lot of lots and nothing.

Worked the Canadian Finals Rodeo which is always fun and games. LOVE rodeo and no, I am not an animal hater. I do enjoy the sports and the Wrangler butts.

Worked NIN......... there was almost a riot when the band had to leave the stage because of a breach in the security fence. GLAD I was in the upper bowl and not on the floor like some of my co-workers because the crowd was NOT impressed, even though it was their own fault.

Worked Gwen Stefani which was sheer fun and entertainment. I yelled at 1 (ONE) person who was GOING to light up a cigarette. :) Now that's a good time.

Hockey, hockey, hockey... what can I say? I applied for a supervisor position and haven't heard back yet... I'm biting my nails on this one, but the manager said she was pleased that I applied, so that's a good sign....................

D-Day is coming for the Apprenticeship program.

Volunteered at Elk Island National Park for the annual Bison Handling. The herd was coaxed into progressively smaller pens until one-by-one they were weighed and checked for diseases. It was a wonderful experience and I was awed and glad to participate in such an important part of the wildlife management. (The thermometer reached +19 that day which was pretty spectacular too!)

Christmas is fast-approaching. O God. I hate being forced to buy gifts. Half the time I buy stuff, then second-guess myself and end up keeping things I didn't need in the first place because I convinced myself that the receiver would NOT actually like what I had chosen. :-/
I have some ideas for this year, but A and I decided to keep costs to a strict minimum this year- we'll see how THAT goes.

I have a dilemma. There is a long-time friend of mine with whom I had a stupid falling-out in May. I think both of us are ready to reconcile, but I think neither one of us wants to make the first move. Should I send this person a card?? IDK what to do about that. Opinions welcome.

Well the Grey Cup is on right now so I guess I should go join my parents and A and pretend to care... hey maybe I'll win with my pool tickets. That would be neat!
